Set in Langley Burrell in beautiful Wiltshire countryside, "No 1" offers versatile easy living. With enclosed south facing gardens and our friendly village pub just a 'stone's' throw' away, it's the perfect place to get together with family and friends.
From home, walk to the river for a picnic, relax and unwind on the luxury garden furniture, light up the barbecue, or 'take five' in the arbour.
At night, gather round the fire pit toasting marshmallows, or settle down to a film on the 65" tv.

The space
"No.1" is a bright and airy detached family home with well enclosed gardens and a gated drive with parking for 3 cars. The property can offer two separate living spaces. There are 2 additional beds for extra guests if required, sleeping a total of 9.

Generally speaking, 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at a minimum cost of £15 per dog to cover enhanced cleaning requirements. We try to be as dog friendly as possible, so please contact us with your requirements or mention in your booking request.

Where you’ll be

Langley Burrell, England, United Kingdom

"No. 1" is perfectly located for a countryside break on the edge of the Cotswolds, with the added bonus of Chippenham railway station being 5 minutes away where you'll have direct access to Bath (10mins), Bristol (20 mins), and London (70mins).

For those preferring to stay away from city bustle there's the Malborough Downs to explore, or perhaps go in search of the 7 remaining White Horses etched into the Wiltshire hillside.
Another Wiltshire delight just 20 or so minutes drive away, is the Caen Locks at Devizes. One of the largest flights of continuous locks in England (29 in total).
Amesbury, Tetbury, Bradford-on-Avon and The Limpley Stoke Valley are all around a 30 minutes drive away and all offer something special for an afternoon out.

And then of course, there's the Cotswolds.....

But much closer to home we are lucky enough to be on the doorstep of Castle Combe and Lacock. Just a 10 minute drive away (or a pretty cycle if you take the lanes), both are quintessential English villages, that are the back-drops to many films.

Closer still, take our much loved river walk from the house and you'll eventually cross the river at the historic Maud Heath's Causeway (14th Century).....a series of 64 arches forming a pedestrian path over the Avon flood plain.
