Our Isle of Wight self-catering holiday apartment is on the sea front in Shanklin, with panoramic views of the coastline and sea.

Overlooking the sandy beach, ideal for a beach holiday for a small family or couple or as a base to explore the many attractions on the Island.

Along the esplanade are a number of restaurants and cafes and children’s entertainments. It is a short walk to the old village and Shanklin Chine.

One private parking space is included with additional parking nearby.

The space
The apartment is bright and benefits from the sun all day. All livable rooms have sea views. In the lounge there is Juliette balcony on which you can stand to view the coastline and sea.

In the large lounge/ diner with kitchen area there are chairs, sofa and a table with 4 chairs for dining. Tv with Freesat and DVD player.

In the kitchen area, there is an oven with hob, microwave, fridge/ freezer, kettle, filter coffee maker, toaster and basic cooking equipment.

The main bedroom is large with a King size bed and room for a cot to be set up if required. The apartment has a travel cot and low chair for babies under two, but please bring your own bedding for the baby should you wish to use it. There is a tv in the main bedroom and large double wardrobe with chest of drawers and bedside tables. A hair dryer is stored in the bedside drawer.

The second bedroom has two bunk beds and a wardrobe. A portable electric fan is stored above.

The shower room has an efficient electric shower and electric towel rail, wash basin with storage cupboard.

The hallway has an entry phone system, coat hooks with the code to the Wi-fi above.

The apartment also benefits from very efficient wall mounted electric radiators should they be required in the cooler months or a cold evening.

Bath towels are supplied but please bring your own beach towels for your stay.

Where you’ll be

The apartment is located centrally on Shanklin Esplanade with an allocated parking space belonging to the apartment next to the building. There is also council carparking for additional vehicles. Along the esplanade there are several restaurants that serve good food and a fish and chip shop. There is also an ice -cream parlour and several small cafes along the seafront.

Along the seafront facilities include a children's play area, crazy golf, and various other amusements. Deck chairs, sun loungers and parasols can be hired on the beach. Other sports hire available includes, bikes, kayaks bodyboards etc. There is also a gift shop that sells beach equipment and refreshments . Beach huts are also available for hire along the seafront.

The old town is a 10 minute walk from the apartment via Shanklin Chine or can be accessed by the cliff lift that is situated behind the apartment building. Here you will find further pubs, restaurants and tea rooms that serve cream teas. Small independent shops and the usual take away services.

The main town has the usual retail outlets and station is approximately 15 minute walk from the apartment.

On the Island there are many attractions to visit, details of these can be found at the Isle of Wight tourist board.
