One of the main neighborhoods in the North Zone, Santana manages to combine everything in just the right amount, with busy and bustling places, and calm residential places. Infrastructure is always present. In addition to all this, we found some very famous spots in SP!
Cruzeiro do Sul, Voluntários da Pátria, Braz Leme, Dr. Zuquim and Luiz Dumont Villares are the main streets and avenues, and the neighborhood's subway stations are Tietê, Carandiru and Santana.
Want to travel? The Tietê Bus Terminal is the largest in the country! There is always a intense flow of people, especially at the eve of holidays.
On Cruzeiro do Sul Avenue, where Carandiru's penitentiary was once, there is the Parque da Youth, with a very different vibe than it was before, the park is nice for relaxing, hiking and physical exercise, and there is also space to play with children.
At the time of carnival, the Sambódromo do Anhembi, on Avenida Olavo Fontoura, is featured because of the parades of the Samba schools. But the complex is home to events and markets throughout the year! Close to there is Campo de Marte Airport and Bagatelle's Campo Square, replica of the famous 14 Bis.
Avenida Braz Leme is full of delicious restaurants and shops that generate a certain movement, but you can still get through an air of tranquility with a central construction site that is all wooded and with a walking track, not too calm, not too messy, where the singing of birds and the sounds of the car motors combine very well.

The Marques Hamburger at Braz Leme is WONDERFUL!
The façade is quite beautiful, even though it was opened in Lisbon, they always try to modernize. The place is all glass and full of foliage, to match the avenue, will it be? The atmosphere inside is also very nice and clean!
With so many bars scattered around the neighborhood, we also stopped by the Famous Bar do Justo.
Just like most bars, the later it gets, the more crowded Bar do Justo and yet the staff can give attention and ensure the cold beer on all the tables, sometimes even too cold to the point of getting a “scrape” look on the glass, but other than that, everything is beautiful!
