Queenies lodge, (named after our aunt Queenie who lived here for over 80 yrs) is enhanced by a private wooded walk, a wellness room with infrared sauna. It is located close to the picturesque village of Windgap, 25 minutes from Kilkenny city
Beautiful old stone and brick, restored to its former glory make this an exceptional home to come and visit.

The space
Queenies lodge, part of a working farm, was built in the 1800 ‘s. The lodge is located in our yard as is our home, should a guest need anything during their stay.
It comprises a spacious 3 bedroom home, (one en-suite) with stunning unique features. It has a large open plan kitchen, complete with granite worktops, large island with integrated appliances, wood burning stove, free WiFi, ground floor wet room and bedroom, freestanding bathtub and games room. We also just added a new wellness room, with infrared sauna for guests to experience pure tranquility during their stay.

Nestled deep in the countryside, feeling like you are miles from anywhere but yet just a short drive from the beautiful villages of Windgap, Kilmoganny, (both 2 km,with local pub and shop ), Kells, the Slate Quarries and the busier towns of Callan, Carrick on Suir and Clonmel, yet only a short drive from cities Kilkenny and Waterford.

A number of golf courses are within 30 minutes, including the world renowned Jack Nicklaus designed Mt Juliet Golf club and Estate (less than 20 minutes)
