Windy Walls is a comfortable, spacious house. Whether you are a couple, a group of friends or a family Windy Walls Is perfect for a country holiday by the sea.The views are breathtaking . You can walk, fish, mountain bike (straight from the garden gate) hang glide, birdwatch, paint, read or simply sit and take in the ever changing view. You will have seclusion and privacy but are only a few hundred yards from the village . is the perfect holiday home.

The space
Windy Walls is a very special place.
The house sits high up on the hill above the village of Rhossili with breathtaking views in every direction. It offers complete seclusion being surrounded by nature, with a private garden, fields and common land and of course, the sea. Every room has panoramic views across the Bristol Channel to Devon, Lundy and and you can see the famous Worms Head from the master bedroom window.

It’s in very close proximity to the outstanding Rhossili Bay and to the more secluded and lesser known Mewslade and Fall Bay beaches which you can stroll to and explore.

The space
Windy Walls is a light, beautiful and very welcoming house. The kitchen has double patio doors that open on to the garden. You can cook delicious meals on the Aga and after you’ve eaten you can sit around the table chatting or playing games. There is much opportunity to relax and enjoy with the family.

The living room is a lovely spacious room, with two comfortable sofas. It has panoramic views and a cosy wood burner.

The layout of Windy Walls gives it very much an open plan feeling, great for families.

All the bedrooms have extensive views. The largest room has a vaulted ceiling, large picture window, with views of Worms Head, and two Velux windows. You can lie in bed and look up at the stars.
The second double is a delightful room with beautiful views.
The little room is cosy, and sweet perfect for children or easily adapted to make another double.

There’s a spacious bathroom upstairs, great for supervising children as it’s big enough for everyone, or comfortable if two of you are getting ready at the same time. It probably has the best view of the house!
There’s a second bathroom downstairs great for a quick shower after the beach, but also children can bathe close by while you prepare supper.

Windy Walls has a large secluded garden and patio area. We are surrounded by common land so you can just step out from the house and walk for miles. You will have ponies, sheep and lots of rabbits grazing up to the fence.

Watch Kites, Buzzards, Choughs and Swallows flying across the vast skies overhead and spot a diverse range of other birds, that visit the garden and surrounding hillside.

Windy Walls is an idyllic place for children. They have the space to romp around and explore the fields and the hill safely, creating wonderful memories.

All around you can hear the peaceful sounds of the country side, from the rumble of a distant tractor or barking of a sheepdog to the bleating of sheep and lowing of cattle and the ever present bird song. When the tide is right you will hear the pounding of the sea on the rocks.

Other things to note
You reach Windy Walls by a short unmade track. Although unmade the track is well maintained, so no potholes, and therefore suitable for most vehicles.

The Wales Coast Path is just a short walk away, giving access to Mewslade, Fall Bay and a number of other secluded coves that are popular with local families.
There are several options for food and drink in the village. The Worms Head Hotel has unbeatable views across the bay, a perfect spot for a pint!
