Where you’ll be

Bigfork, Montana, United States

Swan Lake, MT is located east of Flathead Lake and the town of Bigfork, MT. Swan Lake is approximately 8 miles long and a mile wide. Swan Lake is popular among fisherman for its northern pike fishery, kokanee salmon and rainbow trout. There is a Forest Service day use area which includes restroom facilities, a beach park, boat ramp, picnic tables and fire rings. Although we suggest driving this is within walking distance to our cabin. This is true Montana! Surrounded by mountains, national forest and close to the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area, Swan Lake offers a wealth of recreational opportunities from hiking and horseback riding to fishing, boating and wildlife watching.

A Bar, Montana and Echo Lake Cafe are two of our personal favorites for local dining. Be sure to check out A Bar, Montana's Facebook page for their live music and famous fish fry schedule while you're in town!
