Soak up the warmth and ambience in this cosy 18th century stone built home. You will be on the second floor by yourselves and will enjoy a spacious and well equipped bed room plus a private shower/toilet.

Myself and my husband, both retired, live here. We are 10 to 15 minute walk maximum from the City Centre.
We have no parking on our street, however, free on street parking is always available on a nearby street, from which you can see your car from your top floor bedroom window.

The space
Our town house is located in one of the many ancient lane ways that make up the historic area of Shandon in this medieval city. We are very close to the Mercy Hospital, Firkin Crane Arts Centre, the up and coming trendy
McCurtain Street in the Victorian Quarters and the Heineken Brewery.

Our well thought out guest space is located on the second floor (2 flights of stairs) of our three storey townhouse.
Amenities include a sturdy king sized bed with a very comfortable memory foam mattress, aesthetically pleasing hemp-lime plastered walls, phone charging ports, iron, 2 electric fans, two comfy chairs, a small TV enabled with Prime and Netflix, desk with large mirror, Tea/coffee making facilities along with a mini 9 litre sized fridge. Bedroom and shower room are kept lovely and warm. All the comforts of home in a delightful space.
It has a north facing window overlooking a traditional stone wall and beyond that views of the wider urban area. The shower room/toilet for your own private use, is located just outside the bedroom. Hot water is instant and readily available. There is a ready supply of towels/toiletries.

Guests have plenty of privacy on the second floor and you will normally only see the host on arrival and for breakfast in the mornings.

Much of the house has undergone renovation in recent years and some building work is still ongoing at the back of the house with the addition of a sun room in progress. There are steps at the back of the sunroom leading to a raised south facing garden with a patio area and seating. We can also keep two bicycles for guests in the back yard.

We look forward to hosting you here.
