Start at the castle, which is still inhabited today. Walk through the whitewashed alleys with the village houses and the courtyards with the geraniums and enjoy the breathtaking view.In summer, boats start from the port for the surrounding beaches, the deserted islands of Schiza, Sapienza and Venetiko and the nearby settlements. Pylos and Methoni are classic options for an excursion, completing the puzzle of the castles of Messinia.
