The space
Welcome to my cozy 1 bedroom apartment in one of the liveliest, friendliest and accessible places in Manhattan. Literally walking distance to some of the best restaurants, bars, shops, parks, activities and metro stops/stations that will take you all over NYC. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a walk-up, short stairs up (no elevator in building). As you walk up this classic NYC downtown apartment, here is what you’ll have at your disposal:
Living/Workspace/Dinning:
Cozy living area with a comfy L-shaped sofa, like really comfy! A third guest can easily rest on it. You’ll have access to a 50” HD TV with a few streaming apps already logged on for you’re viewing pleasure. Window A/C installed during warmer months! Lovely decor with books to read and ample amount of lighting. Right beside the sofa is a nice counter height dining set with cushioned stools. Here you can enjoy your meals and use a workspace if you plan to WFH. There are plenty of outlets around with access to Verizon Fios internet that allows you to stay connected on multiple devices.
Kitchen:
Small but equipped with all the essentials you need to cook up a delicious meal. Comes equipped with a gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle and refrigerator. The cabinets are STOCKED with a ton of spices and some items that will allow you to have a quick snack upon arrival. There is a portable kitchen kart to provide more space and allow you to put out food or roll over to the living area to prep food and perhaps watch a cooking video. *Lessons not included*
Beside the dining area you’ll find a small pantry (behind curtains) with all the glassware and utensils you need, even a cocktail shaker!
Bathroom:
Wonderful full bathroom with standing shower, toilet, sink and mirror cabinet. There is plenty of space for drying and hooking towels or clothes. You will also find all the essentials you need like shampoos, conditioner, toilet papers and blow dryer.
Bedroom:
The bedroom had a really comfy Queen sized bed, extra pillows, throw blankets, linens and large closet with shelves and hangers to put up a lot of clothes. There is also hooks on the door to put up more clothes and a nightstand with drawers. No need to live out of a suitcase! Also, a portable A/C installed during warmer months when needed (yes, 2 A/C units in this apartment!)
Bonus:
This is not your typical NYC apartment- meaning the temperature is just right! During the colder months the radiator heating system has you nice and toasty. The warmer months you wont even feel it because the apartment gets a ton of shade. There are two A/C units as mentioned and a portable fan that really does the job. Also, not street facing so you don’t hear the loud noise outside and the tenants are pretty quiet as well.
