The Ager cottage is located on an island in the Chetek Chain of Lakes. 1 bedroom with QUEEN bed, kitchen, futon, garage, dock. Causeway to the island.

Nearby beach, airport, dog park, 2 miles to downtown Chetek.
Boating, fishing, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling.

Secluded cabin, easily sleeps 4 guests.

Wildlife viewing. Bald eagles, deer, otters, heron, wood ducks, muskrat, rabbits, turtles, frogs.

Three kayaks, a Grumman canoe and three bicycles (one is a tandem) are available for guests.

The space
This one-bedroom split-level cottage on the bayou was built in 1951 and was my late dad's man cave for the past 30 years. We've updated the kitchen and bathroom and furnished it in the kind of cozy, comfortable hodgepodge you often see in summer cottages on this chain of lakes. We hope you find it as peaceful and fun there as my family has!

Where you’ll be

The house has two families with children living on either side, within view, but not very close. The neighborhood is quiet, except for the birds, frogs, and occasional boats and snowmobiles, so your calm *quiet* presence will be appreciated. We have encouraged our neighbors to let us know if our guests' activities, noise, or pets disturb them, so please do your best to be considerate neighbors.
