The house.
The cottage (built between 1910-1920) is one of the few traditional Mediterranean-style buildings in the area that has been preserved and has not been demolished in order to build apartment blocks.
The spirit of the house is humble and simple although, from the first moment you cross the entrance gate, you are invaded by its cozy and unique essence. This unique character can be seen in every detail that surrounds you and in every corner of the house.

Other things to note
The courtyard,

no doubt the place where you'll spend the most time. It is a space that maintains the charm of the little house of all life: the patio with vines, a classic of the Mediterranean gardens and a luxury for the shade it provides on hot summer evenings.

The small pool.

Blue water, where you won't be long but you will find peace and quiet and, where you may also relax with a vermouth while chatting with your friends.

Outdoor sofa.

Large workbench around a wood table that is conceived as a meeting space between friends and family and a place to share, eat, drink, laugh and enjoy those times when we are not aware of our daily schedules or obligations.

The interior.

Although the patio is certainly the place where you are most, the interior of the house does not leave you indifferent. Continuing with the traditional Mediterranean aesthetic, we find a naia with arches that makes up the dining space adjacent to the kitchen. It is a mainly functional area where we find a large and comfortable kitchen where to cook. Then, separated by a work shelf, we find the naia with the table and dining chairs.
Next, as we move into the living room, we see the wood-burning fireplace where a white linen home sofa invites us to sit back and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace that wraps around us and hugs us as we read or drink tea.
For it is synonymous with winter to sit around the stove or fireplace and enjoy a hot drink and a good reading. Because this house is not just a summer house, but a place to find peace, rest, bathe, laugh and laugh and enjoy yourself fully.

Practical notes.

The house has air conditioning and, in addition, all rooms have a fan.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has ample space to cook comfortably.

The white linen sofa in the living room is removable and washable so out of fears and worries, enjoy it!

The house consists of two bedrooms and two double beds (capacity for 2 to 4 people).

There's a TV, though you may not even feel the need to turn it on.

Where you’ll be

Xàbia, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain

The cottage is located in Calablanca, also known as La Caleta. The house is a two-minute walk from the seaside.

It is a very well connected area where you will find a snack bar equipped with fresh beer and fried fish, the Leclerq surf and paddle surf school, organic vegetable outlets (7 minutes drive) and the Arenal leisure and dining area (7 minutes walk) where you will find a variety of restaurants and bars, as well as the sandy beach for those not so fond of rock.

For those who love afternoon walks, two and a half kilometers away is the harbour area where Jayan cinema is located, a small two-room cinema that opened in 1966 and continues to provide us with the pleasure of going to its rooms to enjoy a movie.

Finally, slightly lengthening our walk, we arrive at the old town of Jávea. Built around the church-stone fortress, the town centre is home to a variety of tapas and wine bars where you can taste the flavors of the land and sea.
