Just built and beautifully done guest cottage with cathedral ceiling & tons of character & light. Ideally located between the infamous So. Boundary Ave. where the Live Oaks create an incredible canopy and the historic Colleton Ave. Cottage has exposed wood beams, quartz countertop, tiled shower/floor, with a soft leather couch & new tempurpedic mattress and quality bedding/towels/linens to make your stay more comfortable.

The space
The cathedral ceiling in the family room/kitchen area give this 330sf space (not including loft space) architectural interest while the bay windows make it extremely bright and airy. The kitchenette is compact but has everything you need to cook a full course meal and the high end cabinets have soft close doors & drawers to make your kitchen time more enjoyable.

The space has a separate bedroom with an extremely comfortable Queen size tempurpedic mattress and high quality sheets, bedding and pillows. The bathroom is fully tiled with a good size shower that has nice water pressure and we stock it with large, thick, plush bath towels.

Beautifully furnished, and appointed with custom quality electrical and plumbing fixtures make this space feel like a high end hotel suite.

Ample off street parking.
Quiet, friendly & safe neighborhood
Small fenced in outdoor patio area.
Use of washer/dryer in main house, if needed for guests staying a week or more.

Where you’ll be

Aiken, South Carolina, United States

Located in the Olde Aiken Historical neighborhood filled with trees, charm, and the old one way streets originally designed for use by horse drawn carriages, and occasionally you will still see one go by. Horses are stabled one block away in two directions and you will often see horses and their riders walking down the road. If you enjoy walking, jogging or biking, this is the perfect neighborhood for it.

I’m from the Northern Virginia area, where I owned and managed an equestrian facility for 15 years. I moved to Aiken in 2020 and although I love VA, I’ve never looked back. I spend my time renovating properties, traveling (once Covid is under control) riding my horses, and sharing good times with friends and family.
