This beautiful, spacious daily rental house offers the ultimate connected or socially distanced experience while exploring the historic Villages of Van Buren County. Located 2 mi. from Shimek State Forest, .5 mi. from the Des Moines River, a block from Hwy 2 & the general store. Ideal for reuniting with friends or family, for couples seeking a romantic get-away, tourists, contract/construction workers, & business travelers. Whirlpool tub, full modern kitchen & private garage parking with ramp.

The space
This excellent condition home, built in 2008, sits on approximately one acre of land. With 9' ceilings, 1800 square feet of living area, and a 2-car garage with wheelchair accessible ramp, guests will have plenty of space to call their own for the duration of their stay. For those who enjoy a little nostalgic entertainment, there is a TV/VCR player and variety of movies to choose from. The home has a clean/dry full basement which can provide shelter from storms, if necessary. The open porch in front, and deck in back provide additional quiet time or social meeting space.

A tiny stream runs along the rear of the property and provides wooded privacy. Two residential homes and a senior housing complex are nearby. A ballpark, a new general chain store, and Iowa Highway 2 are all within 1-2 blocks.
