The cabin is sitting on a hill over looking several layers of forested mountains. Only 3 or 4 cabins can be seen from our porch. None are next to the cabin. We are surrounded by aspen groves and evergreens. Only a handful of cars will drive by on any given day. Up the road around the corner is a wide open view of Sentinel point which is just next to Pikes Peak.

Perfect as a resting place between all of your outdoor adventures in Teller County or trips into Cripple Creek. This would also be a great place for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Porch furniture is on the back deck with incredible views. Make sure to make some hot chocolate and relax with nature surrounding you in all directions.

Garden of the Gods, Highway to Pike's Peak summit, and Colorado Springs are 30-45 mins away.

The driveway is rather steep. In the summer our 2 wheel drive sedan can easily make it up. However, if there is going to be snow on the ground a 4 wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. We have an arrangement to keep the driveway plowed in the winter but he is not on call so it is not guaranteed to be clear. Also, if there are multiple snow storms during your stay requiring multiple plows we may ask for your to help pay for a portion of the plowing.

Where you’ll be

Divide, Colorado, United States

Rainbow Valley is a cabin community about 8 miles south of Divide Colorado. There are a few restaurants, gas stations and a small grocery store in Divide. (About 10-15 min drive) Woodland Park is appx 20 mins away and has many amenities including restaraunts, groceries, gas stations, theaters, dinosaur museum and hiking. From our cabin and neighborhood we cannot see Pikes Peak but we do have incredible views (photo doesn't do it justice). Our cabin is nestled in the back of the neighborhood. The roads are dirt but taken care of by the county and are cleared of any snow. As mentioned above, our driveway is not guaranteed to be clear of snow and in the winter a 4 wheel drive vehicle is advised.
