The revamped stylish, modern apartment is from the 1800s. Your bedroom will be your own cozy place in the very heart of Oslo. The place is located next to Norway´s most popular, most visited and most fashionable street - Karl Johans gate.

Literally, everything is right outside your doorstep - public transport, shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, famous tourist spots and popular neighbourhoods!

This place is ideal for those who value convenience and comfort in an affordable price!

The space
Our 80 sqm, modern two-floor apartment is located on the top floor (4th floor with elevator) of the building.

The building and the apartment, which was originally built in the late 1800's, has been completely renovated in 2012 so everything looks clean and new.

The guest room has a small double-bed, desk and chair. The room has a stylish skylight which can be opened or closed. The built-in window blind can be drawn if you do not want too much light entering the room.

All the windows are either double or triple glazed to ensure that you will have a peaceful rest in the center of the city. Just make sure you close them. :)

One of the highlights of the room is the original 1800's wooden beams which add a touch of style and nostalgia to the space.

Our space is just perfect for one or two people.

You are renting a room which means that you might share the common space (kitchen, bathroom and living room) with one or two others, not more!

Where you’ll be

Oslo, Norway

The apartment is right next to Oslo's main street, Karl Johans gate. This boulevard is the main artery of the city and is always bustling with activities. You can also find an array of great shops, restaurants, bars, and pubs.

The apartment is located in the neighborhood called "Sentrum" which is the real center of Oslo where you can find almost all of the top attractions, restaurants, bars, cafés, shops and many more!

Living in the very center gives you a great advantage in reaching several of Oslo's popular districts and landmarks in no time.

The following attractions and neighborhoods are within 3-25 minutes from the apartment:

The Parliament
The Palace
Palace Gardens
Oslo Opera House
Munch Museum
National Gallery
Nobel Peace Prize Center
Akershus fortress,
National Theater
Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen
Bar Code
Oslo City Hall
Vigeland Sculpture Park
Oslo Cathedral
Ekenberg Park
Botanical Gardens
and many others!

If you are in the mood for shopping, five of the biggest shopping centers in the capital (Steen & Strøm, Oslo City, Paleet, Eger, and GlasMagasinet) are within 5-minute walk from the apartment.

Our neighborhood has something to offer for every taste and wallet and is teeming with activities both during the day and in the evening.

Oslo City Centre (Sentrum)

In the centre around the main street Karl Johans gate, you find discos, night clubs, bars, jazz clubs and cafés in between all the shops, shopping centres and hotels. Downtown Oslo has a little bit of everything from the East and West of Oslo.

Oslo West (Marienlyst, Majorstuen, Frogner, Bygdøy, Torshov, Ullevål-Hageby, Sankthanshaugen, Vinderen and Kjelsås)

Exclusive Design and Neighbourhood Cafés

Oslo’s west side has traditionally been the area for high salaries and prices, and which gives the area a special atmosphere. The streets are lined with exclusive shops, bars and restaurants, and stately apartment buildings, but the area also offers cozy neighbourhood cafés, small shops and big parks for lazy summer days.

Oslo East (Grønland, Grunnerløkka, Tøyen, Tveita, Grorud, Stovner, Hellerud, Nordstrand, Sagene and Ekeberg)

From Working Class Area to Young and Trendy

Oslo east was once Oslo’s industrial- and working class environment, but the divide between Oslo east and Oslo west is no longer as distinct as it used to be. The area is blooming, and now you will find trendy bars and original shops in between cheap restaurants and traditional neighbourhood cafés.

Aker Brygge/Tjuvholmen - Pulsating Life Along the Harbour

According to many globetrotters, Aker Brygge is the most attractive place in all of Northern Europe for persons who want to have fun, experience something unusual and eat well. New York has its South Street Seaport, San Francisco its Fisherman's Wharf and Oslo its Aker Brygge.

Bygdøy - World-class Museums and Outdoor Activities

Bygdøy is a peninsula on the western side of Oslo, and here you find several of Oslo’s most popular museums. Bygdøy is mainly a residential area, but in addition to the museums Bygdøy is also a popular recreational area during summer.
