Cozy lake side retreat. Floor to ceiling windows looking out at the lake. Bright and open concept living/kitchen area. Relax at the bar, that doubles as a work space. Studio apartment with a queen bed. Heated floors and electric fireplace. Access to the hot tub shared with AirBnB upstairs. Outdoor seating, BBQ. Enjoy the beach and shared dock in summer, skating & fishing in winter. Pizza delivery, airport 15 min, downtown 30 min. Kayaks available. Sorry no pets or parties.

This is a quaint neighborhood focused on lake activities such as swimming and kayaking in the summer, and skating and ice fishing in the winter. You may enjoy watching the eagle on his daily route past the house. There are local parks with hiking trails, as well as some off the beaten path hiking destinations. The Dartmouth Crossing shopping and entertainment district is 20 minutes away and downtown Halifax 30 minutes. The house is in a central location for many tourist activities within an hour radius, such as tidal bore rafting, Peggy's cove, south shore and eastern shore beaches and more.
