Private studio above the barn, with private deck and self check in. Whether you are looking for some peace and quiet or a romantic getaway, or a central location for outings to Lake Tahoe, Reno, Virginia City this is the place. We are located in south Carson in a safe neighborhood where homes are on acre lots. The studio is approximately 500 square feet, very quiet and private. There’s a nice view of the mountains from your 100 square foot deck. I extensively clean the studio myself.

The space
There’s plenty of off street parking just outside your door, so you can feel secure about any toys on your car rack, or on your trailer. You may drop your trailer or toys in the yard, if you want to make excursions without them. If you’re in a motorhome or pulling a camper, there’s probably room to park that too, just message us and we’ll let you know.

In addition to our scenic Capital City, you’re not far from South Shore Tahoe skiing and boating, historic Virginia City, Reno, and Nevada public land access for hiking and off road vehicles. In the area there is also Wally’s hot springs and Carson hot springs. We’re only 32 miles from Reno International Airport. THIS STUDIO IS COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM ANY OTHER LIVING QUATERS. NO CONTACT WITH OTHERS NECESSARY.

During your stay

This is a great place to escape and enjoy the Nevada outdoors! If you have any questions, please ask! This unit is a studio above a barn with no other dwelling attached. Under the studio is just storage. We live in the main home on the property, but the barn faces away from the house and the barn is at the rear of our acre property. You will not need to have contact with anyone while you are here. I personally clean the studio extensively and disinfect.
