Welcome to our wooden cottage among the Schaijk estates. The cottage is about 65m2 surrounded by a large garden of almost 500m2! There is room for up to two adults, 2 children and a baby (four adults may be possible).

The outdoor feeling, but then inside the cottage and outside in the garden! Between the surrounding countryside and near nature reserve De Maashorst. Curious?

The space
Our wooden cottage is located between the farms, on a small-scale recreational park. The cottage is on the side of the park - by the enclosed whole, you feel in your own environment. From the back of the garden you look at a meadow. Around the corner (cycling distance and for the hikers also hiking) lies the beautiful nature reserve the Maashorst.

We have recently refurbished and styled the place and it has a nice dining and living space. There is a round dining table with comfortable seating for 4 persons (+ baby chair available).

From the dining area you walk into the garden through the open garden doors. The garden has several terraces so you can fully enjoy the sun. Or take a moment to chill out in the hanging chair. If you have your children with you, let them enjoy the swing, trampoline or (for the youngest) the slide. Or let them run around on the "secret" paths.

In the living room there is a large comfortable sofa, from where you can watch TV. Chrome Cast and Apple TV are available to stream or watch Netflix. Through the two separate windows you can look into the garden from different angles.

The kitchen is cozy and functional. There is an electric stove, oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is also a blender (for smoothies, for example), hand mixer (if you want to bake a cake...there is also a cake tin), toaster and Nespresso machine. We also provided basic ingredients such as coffee, olive oil, sugar, oatmeal, muesli, pasta, rice, herbs. Of course, all the logical kitchen necessities are also available.

The various cupboards and chests in the living and dining room are filled with children's toys and books & magazines.

One bedroom has a double bed. The other bedroom has two single beds (extendable) for children (possibly also for use by adults). A cot can be added. Other amenities for and baby are also provided, such as a dresser and changing pillow.

Through the corridor you have access to the bathroom (shower and washing machine/dryer) and separate toilet.

All windows can be opened for fresh air. Curtains are available for all windows (mostly blackout in both bedrooms).

Please also note that the house is in the countryside (although on the outside of an amusement park) and yes, there are spiders and insects here. It's part of nature, they belong here, they live here, so we can't do much about it. However, most windows in the cottage are equipped with a hor.

A barn is available where you can store and/or recharge your bike (s). Furthermore, there is a bolder cart; feel free to take it with you if you want to go for an afternoon picnic.

You can only enter and leave the amusement park where our cottage is by car via a barrier with an access pass when you enter the house for the first time. On the park are also facilities available, which you can use as a guest of our cottage, such as a swimming pool, playground, boules court (we have boules balls at your disposal) and bike rental.
