A rustic tire house (aka earthship) is situated in Gamerco, NM, right outside the bustling town of Gallup with many places to bike, hike, or walk within a reasonable distance. The home has one bedroom and an open floor plan. It is the perfect getaway from life's stresses.

Pandemic NOTE: Some repairs are on hold (pellet stove & tub jets).
In cases of extreme heat (>90ºF), we will consider refund if you decide to cancel due to limited cooling capacity

Retired ER physician. I enjoy outdoors activities including mountain biking, snowshoeing, hiking, hunting (sometimes with a bow, sometimes a camera).
Religion: Protestant, Catholic mix - attend mass when away from home. Serve on Safe Church Committee at my home (Protestant) congregation.
Politics: Left leaning; own guns but dislike the NRA. Open to discussion. Passionate about the environment, clean energy etc. Participate with Gallup Solar initiative to promote renewables and building efficiency.

During your stay

I’m sequestered at our cabin in the Zuni Mountains much of the time during the pandemic so will not likely be able to greet you in person.
