This historic multi-generational family cottage is all yours! Nestling outside the busy little village of Taplow this beautiful property is a true gem, offering luxurious stays for the well deserved. Don’t let it’s age fool you though as the wonderfully quaint and historic building gives way to all the mod cons your heart desires with sumptuous super king size beds and beautifully landscaped gardens to die for. Yet jump on the train at the nearby station and you’re in London under an hour. Wow!

The space
This property feels special as soon as you pull into the drive but when you open the door and step inside you’ll immediately feel like you want to stay here forever. Here’s what to expect....

RELAX.....
In the comfy sitting room with down feather-filled sofas, a fireplace and a Smart TV.

SLEEP.....
Take your pick of the huge luxurious beds on offer and be prepared to fight over the four-poster bed. This is the master bedroom and has the added bonus of a dressing are and en-suite bathroom.

All beds are dressed in hotel quality linen.

Please note: Bedroom 4 has a small single bed. However the property benefits from having many trundle-style non fixed beds that slide out from underneath the man in beds. These are not dressed but one additional set of linen is provided for them.

Please note: There are 2 travel cots available , please provide your own bedding if required

FRESHENING UP.....
There's no need to wait around to get freshened up. You'll have the pick of 2 bathrooms and one shower room, all modern and fully featured.

Towels and toiletries provided.

EATING.....
Cook up a storm with a fully equipped, modern kitchen:
Range cooker with gas hob
American style Fridge/Freezer with filtered and sparkling water
Toaster
Microwave
Kettle
and all the pots and pan one needs!

......and a Dishwasher to help you get them all clean again!!

The large dining room with it’s fireplace and wall art will make any meal feel like a banquet. However there’s also the added convenience of a separate breakfast area just off the kitchen.

GET OUTSIDE......
Lose yourself in the picturesque walled garden which is lovingly landscaped with a natural pond, cascading from the lion's mouth fountain, and a sparkling stream with a seating area. If you're lucky, you’ll see the ducks paddling there in the mornings.

BE SMART......
Whilst you can feel the character and age of this property you’ll be pleased at how smart it is with it’s Wi-Fi mesh network throughout controlling the many smart features of this house including lighting and heating.

Whilst the property is tucked away, out of site in a fairly remote part of the beautiful Berkshire countryside the nearby village of Burnham has plenty to offer with charming pubs and nice little restaurants within walking distance.

Beyond this is the countryside with it’s huge range of activities available, whether you’re into being at one with nature by taking walks or bike rides along the River Thames, getting sporty with golf, cricket and football clubs within walking distance, or simply checking out the historic and royal sights within in the borough. Or perhaps you’re a foody and will revel in the idea of being a stone’s throw from the many Michelin star restaurants this area has to offer.

It’s an ideal base for visiting London, Windsor, Legoland and the Thames Valley.

You are lucky to be surrounded by some great attractions which are suitable for everyone! Along with the extensive list below, this also includes; Burnham Beeches, Savill Gardens, Bekonscot Model Village, Odds Farm Park and Dorney Court.

Windsor Town Centre is easily reached from the property and here you will find the iconic Windsor Castle, The Long Walk, lots of shops and restaurants and it is just a short walk away from Eton and the College.

Legoland is a great family day out, especially for the little ones! It is approximately 7 miles away and easily reached by car.

Cliveden – this well known National Trust property and Country House is worth a visit for woodland walks and river views. If you’re feeling fancy – you could treat yourself to Afternoon Tea.

Dorney Rowing Lake was famously used in the London 2012 Olympics. Today it is best enjoyed for walks, bike rides or other recreational activities whilst watching rowing events, triathlons and beautiful sunsets.
