The space
I built this house next an old granite quarry, using mostly recycled materials. Most of the wood is reclaimed and most of infrastructure comes from demolition. We are restoring the forest in this area since 1994, and in 1998 I was able to buy this area and secure it for restoration and conservation.

Our 4 acres reserve is part of a 40 acres land that I bought and share with friends back in 1998. This land is located on the foothills of the Anhangava Mountains, a large granite mountain. With this friends, we work to protect this mountain and gave scientific reasons for the government create a State Park in that area. In 2002, the Serra da Baitaca State Park was created, adjacent to our property. Nowadays, we still work together to protect this area. The road to access our property is a cul de sac, and you can get with your car right in front of the house.
