Self contained apartment which comprises spacious bedroom, well equipped kitchen, wet room & a very large living/dining room (40ft x 10ft) looking out onto mature garden at the back of which is open countryside. Your private garden space comprises of a private patio with a large table, umbrella, 4 chairs & portable bbq. Private entrance with own parking space. Apartment has Wifi, Sky/Netflix/Amazon Prime and two Smart tv's , use of Utility room comprising large washing m/c & large freezer.

The space
This space is ideal for a couple or a family with 1 child. The sofa bed is located in the bedroom - we really only like to recommend for use by a child. Likewise there is a travel cot available for use which will be set up by your hosts as required. This is a lovely bright & sunny space. It is a joy to sit in the very large conservatory in the morning and eat breakfast looking out over the mature garden with farmland to the rear - one really gets the impression of being in the open countryside when in reality we are a 10 minute walk to the bustling County town of Newcastle West. The outside patio area is an attractive relaxing space for an early morning cup of coffee or indeed an evening glass of Prosecco or Gin & Tonic! The conservatory is both conducive to work and relaxation and has adequate space to accommodate both! With your own private entrance and parking space this is a little slice of heaven in which one can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life whilst still being within walking distance of all the amenities offered by this busy town.

Where you’ll be

Newcastle West, County Limerick, Ireland

Our property is located in the desirable neighbourhood known simply as "Cullinagh". It is a well established, quiet area with most residents having lived here for years. We are a 10 mins straight walk into town but there is also a 20 min leisurely stroll through our local parkway - the entrance to which is literally 2 mins walk from our gate. This local park contains a lovely walkway along which are located all the local sports clubs playing fields, the children's playground, tennis courts, the local Community Centre and of course it is also home to the Water Spring which is famous to Ballygowan Water.

During your stay

Your self contained apartment is attached to the main house at the rear - your hosts live in the main property but will never enter the apartment without express invitation from yourself or obviously in the case of some emergency. The hosts like to do a Meet & Greet but they are conscious that in these social distancing times that some people may not want to meet in person. This is quite acceptable and understandable and all communication can be done via telephone call or text message.
