Tahlo Headland is a traditional Finnish lakeside sauna with stunning views of Lake Näsijärvi in the center of Pirkanmaa, on Tahlo Farm, 35 km from Tampere. 4 people can be accommodated in the cottage with sofa beds.

Sauna and a room with fireplace, covered terrace, gas grill, pier and outhouse (no indoor / water toilet). Additional services: Hot tub (palju) and final cleaning, boat & canoe for extra fee.

From the yard and terrace of lakeside sauna Tahlo Headland opens the amazing view of lake Näsijärvi. In the cottage there is a fireplace, two sofa beds, a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee and tea maker, small induction hob and fridge.

Four people can stay in the sauna cabin on a pull out sofa-bed. Our accommodations include good quality linen, sheets and towels. There is no running drinking water, which we will supply you with.

you can experience an authentic Finnish sauna, handmade from the trees on the Tahlo estate, and enjoy the fresh country air on the terrace. There is also a hot tub (palju), which is available to use for an additional fee.

Tahlo Headland is also possible to rent only for the evening. If you want to organize a sauna evening, bachelor party or a relaxed evening, feel free to contact us! The property is only rented during the summer season until the weather cools down. Arrival to Headland Sauna is also possible by water by boat.


The accommodations at Tahlo Headland always include:

- Rowing boat or a canoe 29 € per boat per 24 hours. Additional days 10 € per boat per day.

Cats from the farm may visit the area, so the destination may not be suitable for a person with a cat allergy.

Safety

All the rooms and spaces are cleaned and disinfected between guests by our staff. We are taking extra steps to make sure to clean and disinfect all surfaces, door handles and light switches, in addition to our regular and thorough cleaning. We are complying with THL’s (Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare) rules and regulations about cleaning and we offer necessary hygiene items such as gloves for our customers to use as well. Thank you for understanding.

Other notes

Close to the rented place there is a boat shelter that isn’t included in the rental. The Tahlo farm landlord might use the shelter and the boat during your stay but please do not let this disturb. The shelter is 100 meters form the cottage, so it’s not too close. You’ll be provided a map during our stay to see the rented area more closely.

There is also a beach area close to the rented area that is in the use of Tahlo family and there you might meet us.

Tahlo Headland is located in a peaceful place right at the coast of Lake Näsijärvi.

Close to the rented place there is a boat shelter that isn’t included in the rental. The Tahlo family may use the shelter and the boat during your stay but please do not let this disturb. The shelter is 100 meters form the cottage, so it’s not too close. You’ll be provided a map during our stay to see the rented area more closely.

There is also a beach area close to the rented area that is in the use of Tahlo family and there you might meet us.

Next to the sauna we have the Tahlo farm. Tahlo’s history stems 400 years back, from the year 1585.
