With views over the Moray Firth and the Black Isle beyond, nestled in forest and farm land, just 25 minutes drive from Inverness airport and only 5 miles from the ancient fishing port and market town of Nairn with its award winning beach; the Bunkhouse is a self contained en-suite bedroom separate to the main house, just 30 minutes from the Cairngorms and with easy access to the NC500. This quiet location is perfect for short stays or longer breaks.

The space
The Bunkhouse is a separate building located next to the croft house. With ample off-road parking, patio area out front and views out the back over fields (that may contain sheep and/or cows at times) and the Black Isle. The room has an en-suite shower room and contains a double bed, bed-settee, table and chairs, freeview TV and internet. A mini fridge, microwave oven and tea/coffee making facilities are provided as well as breakfast items including: fruit, cereal, porridge and yogurt. Please note that we do not provide a cooked breakfast.

Located within the scattered community of Lethen, the numerous local forest and woodland areas are perfect for walking and bird watching. The Findhorn river is easily accessed a few miles down the road along with Loch Belivat and the glorious Lochindorb where the ruins of Lochindorb Castle, a former stronghold of the Clan Comyn and is built on what now is said to be an artificially created island. Towards Nairn is Househill farm shop and cafe and located within Nairn are a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. Close to the beautiful village of Cawdor, the Cawdor Tavern is the perfect setting for a lunchtime or evening meal. Historical areas of interest close by include Culloden Battlefield, Brodie Castle, Fort George and Cawdor Castle and,of course, several whisky distilleries.
