Te Kuiti is a new, tastefully furnished bungalow set in bushland with extensive views of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. The perfect place to relax and enjoy all Bruny has to offer.

The space is bright and light filled with a well-appointed kitchen, comfortable living and dining areas that open onto a wrap-round deck with views of the bushland, the Channel and across to the Huon Valley estuary and the Hartz Range.

The Bungalow shares the property with our home, Te Kuiti Cottage, where we live.

The space
Polished timber floors, oriental rugs, slow combustion fireplace and an eclectic mix of paintings and comfortable furniture, means the Bungalow echoes of a bright and warm Scandinavian holiday house.

The main room opens onto the expansive wrap-round deck. There is comfortable outdoor furniture, a Weber BBQ and umbrella. Inside there is excellent free wi-fi access, a flat screen smart TV, DVD player and an extensive DVD and reading library.

You will have direct access to the water's edge or enjoy strolling through the natural bushland and our native gardens, taking in the abundant wildlife and many birds.

Te Kuiti Bungalow is situated close to the township of Alonnah. Take a short drive (or a longer walk by the bush track and coastline) to town. Enjoy the calm sandy beach or cross the road and visit the famous Bruny Island Hotel for a meal and convivial drink.

Alonnah is centrally located. It is a pleasant drive in any direction to Bruny’s many attractions. Depending on your tastes you can savour the famous gourmet food and wine providores, go on all grades of beautiful bushwalks, take in the scenic splendours of the Neck, Cloudy Bay, Adventure Bay, visit wildlife sanctuaries, go on exciting boat or plane trips or enjoy the unique features of South Bruny National Park and its dramatic lighthouse.
