Our cozy cottage is a standalone structure nestled in the Ponderosa Pines on 10-acres of land, a unique 'hobbit home' built lovingly by your host.

The space
Your cottage sits on your own 3 acres. 10 acres to explore, There will be only you and your two hosts on the 10 acres.
The cottage has everything you need for a solo or couples retreat. A kitchenette with microwave, hot plate, mini-fridge/freezer, toaster, and coffee machine and a spacious bathroom with toilet and shower. The 300sq ft studio has a lofted full bed, pull-out sofa, coffee table and comfy chair for reading or writing. You may roam the 10 acre site, and 3 acres completely to yourself.
There are playful touches everywhere in the design (you’ll have to see it to understand), this place was specifically designed to ensure privacy, serenity, Beauty, and particularly to enhance inspiration and vision. Not just pretty words, that’s the truth. Ron is first and foremost an artist.

The softly lit land is peaceful at night and the enchanted forest is largely untouched - we encourage you to explore. The pond is clean for swimming in the summertime (with a fun new rope swing) The 'cabana' area by the pond has a grill, floaty toys and lounge chairs for a lazy afternoon by the water. The brick outdoor fireplace can be a space for s'more making or for your rituals of release and transformation.
Next to the pond is a beautiful boathouse cabin. You may use The cabin for anything: A place to paint, play music . . .

Colorado Springs (approximately 6 miles away) is nestled at the foot of the Rockies near National Forests and ski areas - any kind of outdoor recreation you can imagine is right nearby.
