Welcome to 'The Barn' a lovely two-floor gusthouse, located between big city Odense and charming Nyborg on Funen.
Here you'll find a relaxing atmosphere and the perfect place to chill and forget about busy life. Are you looking for an authentic country-experience, still close to the big city- this is the place!

The space
THE HOUSE- Downstairs is one big room, besides the kitchen and bathroom. This room functions as living/dining room and has an officespace to. The surroundings is very cozy and creatively decorated, with alot of nice details.

Upstairs you'll find the bedroom (actually it's two rooms, but there is no door between. See pictures)
The first room has an office/makeup corner. The next room is the bedroom, with one double bed.
Please notice: Standing height upstairs: 180m

This house has everything you need in:
- A fully equipped kitchen
- A living room with books, games, tv, wifi, bluetooth speaker ect.
- A bathroom with clean towels, hairdryer, soap, toilet paper
- Made beds with fresh sheets
- One double bed and two fold out guests-beds if needed.
- A nice private terrace with furniture and a grill (during summer season)
Besides the private terrace behind the guesthouse, the garden contains of a big green area, with a bonfire and even a real-life western saloon- kids will love this!

Notice: During your stay, we will be living in our private home at the same property. We never enterfere with our guests stay unless they need help or have questions. Simply put: You won't notice us :-)

WILDERNESS BATH: In the yard we also have a lovely wilderness bath- at disposal all year! Have a drink, sink down into the warm relaxing water and enjoy the sunset or stars!
Notice: The wilderness bath is a uniq experience that we offer our guests. It takes a lot of preparation/tecnique to get the bath ready, and people with no experience, can end up hurting themselves. So, if you would like to try the wilderness bath, just let us know and we will work out all the pratical for you.

We make sure the bath get's the perfect temperature (40 degrees), is clean and has the right PH value, and we create a lovely atmosphere with candles and a glass of bobles.
We charge the price of 500 kr (65 euros) for this lovely nature experience (price includes everyone) and you can stay in, as long as you like (most people spend 1-3 hours)
If you wish to use the wilderness bath several times during your stay, the next price is 300kr. (40 euros)
We can promise this is a GREAT experience.

Note: Depending on season, it takes 3-7 hours to heat up the bath. So please let us know a day in advance, if you want to book the bath.

Where you’ll be

Ullerslev, Denmark

Ullerslev is a small village on Funen, not far from the beach (Dinestrup Strand)

It has 2 supermarkets (one is only a 2-minute walk), a pizzeria, a gym, a gas station and a pub.
The village is at the countryside. Therefor you'll see a lot of fields and green areas, perfect for a nice walk. The nearest beach is about 10 min drive.

10 km away, you'll find charming city of Nyborg. Nyborg has a lot to offer, with beautiful surroundings of forests and several nice beaches. The center of the city has a harbor, a lot of different stores, a cinema and restaurants.

20 km away, you'll find Odense- the third biggest city of Denmark. Perfect for shopping and great gastronomy.

Funen has a lot to offer and you'll find plenty to do. Visit the popular 'Egeskov Castle', take the kids to the Zoo in Odense or 'Fjord&Bælt' in Kerteminde (aquarium). Or what about a trip to the indoor bath/swimming pool in Nyborg.
