Where you’ll be

Grangemouth, Scotland, United Kingdom

We have lived in Falkirk all our lives and want to share the fun with everyone. On Sunday mornings we walk from the Kelpies to the Falkirk Wheel, watching the Canal Lockkeepers as we go. There are barges travelling through the locks to and from Grangemouth to Linlithgow, Edinburgh and Glasgow. We might stop and have a coffee at the Kelpies Bistro. From Kelpies Cottage our other regular trips include visiting lochs in the Trossachs and places such as Loch Lomond and St. Andrews an hour away. There are many local walks and if you are energetic it’s not too far away to the Fife Coastal Pathway. This lovely cottage is within easy access to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Trossachs.

There are many restaurants nearby, such as Cooks, 5 minute walk, or Café Corvina, 10 minutes by car. Falkirk and Grangemouth boast shops and supermarkets for all your needs.

Also, near local business if you are travelling for work. Easy access motorway links to M876 and M9. We hope you will love it as much as we do.
