Escape to a private retreat near Nolin Lake and Mammoth Cave! This cabin is brand new and offers one bedroom with a queen bed, full-size kitchen, and a fold-out futon in the living room. It's about 20 minutes to Mammoth Caves (check for Ferry closures) through a beautiful scenic drive. It's near Nolin Lake State Park with a beach in the summer, lots of fun hiking, and biking. This is the perfect getaway if you're looking to explore the outdoors and all the beauty that Kentucky has to offer.

The space
A few notes:
This is a brand new property. The Hideaway is the perfect place to kick back after a long day of caving, hiking, canoeing, biking, boating, you name it! There is so much to do all year around for nature lovers young and old.

There is no wifi. There is cell service depending on your carrier. We have T-mobile and it works great. Reviews mention other carriers that work well. It is the perfect place to unplug and immerse yourself in nature.

The Hideaway is in a very rural area. There are not many restaraunts and very few places to eat. We advise bringing food along with you. You can also check out The Linen Apron for a nice dining experience or Blue Holler Cafe.

The distance to Mammoth Cave depends on whether or not the ferry is open. Please check the Mammoth Cave website about ferry closures so that you arrive on time for your tour.

There is a fire pit (please bring your own firewood).

Pets are welcome and there is no pet fee.

Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, United States

There is lake access at the end of the road (about one mile) for anyone who wants to boat, kayak, float, canoe, or fish.

Nolin Lake State Park is 10 minutes away and there are great hiking and biking trails there. Try the Waterfall loop and for a longer hike you can take the lakeshore bluff connector out to the Point Loop.

Mammoth Cave National Park is wonderful area to explore for caving but also hiking and biking. The Visitors Center is about 20 minutes away (Ferry pending--35 min when the ferry is not running). The Maple Springs Parking Lot is 15 min from the cabin and has hiking and biking trails there in a nice remote part of the park.

It is rural! Very few restaraunts and a dry county.
