The cottage is beautifully located on top of Tjønnbakken with easy access to both top tours and family tours in Rondane. It is about 8 kilometers into Rondvassbu.

The cabin has water, sewers and electricity and pictures of electricity in the patio. It is driveable into the cabin May-October.

In winter, you have to park down on Mysusæter and ski up, about 1 kilometre. You can also ride a scooter up if you have a lot of luggage.

Mysusæter is a great starting point for mountain trips for everyone. Here you can enjoy both short, long and airy trips. Our cabin is located on top of Tjønnbakken, which gives you a good view of both Rondane and Jotunheimen, as well as a good start for many fine tours in Rondane.

For us, Rondane is a beautiful recreation and hiking area. Here you can both reach several 2,000-metre peaks and additionally have access to light hiking destinations that offer both views and beautiful nature experiences.

If you want to relax properly, SPA treatments can be recommended at the hotel on Mysusæter.

If cooking is not what you think is most fun when you are on your trip, we can recommend eating both at the café by the shop, in the mountain lounge or at the hotel. It is also possible to shop for basic goods at both the shop and the mountain lodge. The mountain lodge's freshly baked bread we have a great time at the cabin.

In winter, there is a ski lift on Mysusæter, and a great cross-country ski trail net can be found right outside the door.
