Just on the market this beautifully designed and refurbished coastal retreat is all about its stunning location and panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean, Doolin, the Aran Islands, and accross to the twelve pins of Connemara. Perfectly located to explore the rugged Wild Atlantic way of County Clare and a gateway to the iconic Burren National Park, voted the number 1 visitor location in Ireland, not to mention the nearby breathtaking Cliffs of Moher known to many as the 8th wonder of the world!

The space
This property is a newly built boutique style stone lodge on a private quiet road with spectacular panoramic views from all aspects and French patio doors opening onto the breathtaking Wild Atlantic Seaview from the living space. The downstairs is an elegant modern open plan space with a fully fitted kitchen and all modern conveniences including a washer/dryer and espresso machine.
The dining area is a cozy booth with panelling and oak bench seating next to the kitchen but separate from the living space. The living area has timber floors throughout and the oak beams and panelling create a cozy, charming and comfortable space to relax with a drink or a coffee on the corner sofa facing out onto the sea views.
A stairs leads from the living space to the upstairs bedrooms and family bathroom. The front bedroom again has a large front window and two roof windows giving it an elevated panoramic view out to the Aran Islands and beyond. The bed is Kingsize with a new comfortline mattress and is located next to the family bathroom. The back bedroom also has two roof windows with amazing views over towards the Cliffs of Moher. This room has twin beds which can also be joined as a Superking depending on the guests requirements. The beds are new with comfortline mattresses and this bedroom is also located next to the family bathroom. The bathroom is beautifully designed and tiled with an extra large power shower and an elegant sink drawer unit for storage.

Ballymacloon, County Clare, Ireland

This property is located within walking distance from the beautiful Doolin Village the gateway to the iconic Burren of North Clare recently voted the No 1 place to visit in Ireland. Doolin is a very

On Your Doorstep:

Doolin Village with its restaurants , pubs and cafes.

Check out O'Connors pub, McGanns pub, McDermots or Fitzs bar at the Doolin There is also the restaurant in the Fiddle and Bow hotel and Russells take away which does a good fish and chip.

For restaurants check out Anthonys for a good steak and Glas in the Hotel get good reviews. For something a little more discerning try Oar restaurant but it can be difficult to get a booking.

There is also the Doolin Cafe which is nice for breakfast or lunch. There is a little ice cream shop on Fisher Street and little coffee docks here and there.

Doolin is very stretched out and is deceiving so it needs to be explored. It is two kilometers from O'Connors pub to McDermotts pub!

Must Visit in the Area:

Doolin Pier offers ferries daily to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. you can book at the pier or there is a ferry company office on fisher street.

Doolin cave is well worth a visit and has the largest stalactite in Europe and a little cafe.

Doolin is on the doorstep of the Burren National Park and we would direct you to the website for all the information you need on exploring the Burren. The Burren Centre in is in Kilfenora, a few miles away and we would also direct you there. At the very least take the coastal drive from Doolin to Fanore and up into Ballyvaughan and Kinvarra. It is a beautiful coastal drive with lots of places of interest along the way.

The Cliffs of Moher:

The Cliffs of Moher visitor centre is just a few kilometers away along the coast on the way to Liscannor and Lahinch. The iconic Cliffs of Moher are known to many as the magnificent 8th wonder of the world and are not to be missed.

Just one kilometer from the lodge is the start of the beautiful cliff walk which will take you all the way to the Cliffs along the edge of the Atlantic and this is also highly recommended.
