Only a short drive to the amazing bush walks of Pirongia, 25 minutes to Raglan and 10 minutes to the city centre of Kirikiriroa - Hamilton.

The space
Our 30m2 studio space includes a kitchenette (electric hob, fridge, jug, toaster, microwave, pots, plates, cutlery etc ), table & chairs, king sized bed and lounge area. The room also has a heat pump which warms up the room in no time!
The bathroom is detached but just a few metres from main room, all undercover. With toilet, sink and shower.

There is tea, coffee, milk (if needed), bread and spreads.

We're Whatawhata local and proud, with 2 kids, 2 dogs, 6 chooks, and a kitten at home we are certainly kept entertained! We love a homegrown lifestyle and also exploring the region. Looking forward to hearing of your experiences...

During your stay

We have two other dwellings on the property - our family home and my parents home. We are available for any queries, though you are completely private when in the hideaway room.
Our two dogs may bark and make an inquisitive nuisance for a few minutes, but they are completely friendly and harmless.
You may also hear the soft rumblings of a water pump located in neighbouring shed, or bird song from our small native bush reserve just outside...
