The perfect house in a perfect location. Large family home in immaculate condition (newly decorated June 2020) All you need to enjoy a relaxing break in Connemara. Lakeside location and within walking distance or short drive to the idyllic village of Oughterard. Galway city 17 miles and Clifden 30 miles. The ideal location for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way! Spacious detached house with expansive lawn, patio dining and front rose garden. Gated driveway for extra security and safety for kids!

The space
This house has been completely redecorated in June 2020 and we are currently installing a new decked patio area with dining table and seating for those summer evenings to dine alfresco! The house is nestled in a quiet area less than 0.5km from the main N59. The modern kitchen includes a dual fuel rangetype cooker & hob and an American style fridge freezer with water dispenser/ice maker. There are two large living room areas both with flat screen smart televisions one room with open fire and the other with multi fuel burning stove. High speed fibre broadband and sky tv!
The house is fully accessible with wheelchair ramp at rear of property and downstairs ensuite bedroom. Upstairs we have another ensuite bedroom with King size bed, power shower and large built in wardrobe space. Two further bright bedrooms have a double and single bed each and the family bathroom has a large Jacuzzi Bath and power shower. All upstairs bedrooms have beautiful views over Portacarron and our lawn and gardens.

Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Oughterard, our house is a short stroll from the mesmerising Lough Corrib world famous for its fishing facilities. Several Atlantic coast beaches are just a short drive away as is the town of Moycullen and the bustling Galway City and seaside Salthill. We are also less than a mile from Oughterard Golf Course and close to many tourist attractions - Aughnanure Castle, Twelve Bens, Kylemore Abbey etc!
