Binalong Bay Cottage is a tastefully decorated beach house, featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, and some of the best panoramic views of the beautiful Binalong Bay Beach and the World Famous Bay of Fires Coastline. Situated just a stones throw from the beach itself, the local restaurant, this is the perfect location to spend a relaxing holiday at one of the best beaches in Tasmania.

The space
Binalong Bay Cottage is ideally suited to two couples travelling together who would like their own private space, as it is split over two levels.
There are two bedrooms, one with kin bed and one with a queen,and two bathrooms, one on each level.

The upper level is open plan, featuring a lovely kitchen, dining area and living room which opens out onto a deck via large sliding doors. The kitchen has electric hotplates, a microwave, but there is no oven. You can fire up the gas Weber Q on this deck, and cook up a storm. A small laundry is hidden behind sliding doors. The master bedroom is on this level, and features a quality king size bed, commercially-laundered linen and an en-suite bathroom with modern shower head and complimentary toiletries. Here you can laze in bed in the mornings with privacy and wake up looking out over the water, and enjoy the views right up to Eddystone Point Lighthouse.

A spiral staircase leads you down to the lower level. On this level hyou will find a second queen size bedroom, which opens out onto its own private patio. Adjoining is a small bathroom. There is also a beautiful newly renovated sitting room on this level, with a modern fold-out single bed which can be set up for an extra guest upon request (at an additional charge). The sitting room also has sliding doors opening out onto a patio, where you can stroll along a path, down the landscaped steps, and straight down to the beach or restaurant, only a few meters away.

The Bay of Fires, and Binalong Bay, is a beautiful location. We have run holiday accommodation for many yeas now, and visitors keep exclaiming how beautiful this area is, and that they should have stayed longer. The beaches are to die for! Bush walking is easily accessible right from the house.
Or if mountain bike riding is your thing, then we can arrange a shuttle for you to, as well as mountain bike hire. Explore the amazing new mountain bike tracks which finish less than 5 kms from the house.

Moved to Binalong Bay Tasmania from mainland Australia more than 17 years ago. Discovered it is such a beautiful place, decided to help others to enjoy the world renowned Bay of Fires on the East Coast of Tasmania.

During your stay

The house is fully self contained, and has a lockbox available so you can let yourself in with the door code.
I live just a few minutes away, so a phone call can have me there to help you if you desire. I often pop in to make sure you are happy, but otherwise leave you to enjoy yourselves.
