A quirky one up, one down miner's cottage, built in the 1800's in the town of Hayle is made from a subdivided cottage and is now part of a terrace. The cottage is small, with steep open tread stairs. It is a quiet road in Hayle with thick walls that help keep the house cool in summer and warm in winter (that and central heating!).
Close to local shops and amenities and direct train routes through Cornwall. The house is pet friendly but with the carpeted bedroom, pets to be kept downstairs.

The space
The cottage was built in the 1800s, which means a few quirks, with walls that are not straight and us retrofitting modern appliances and heating in the best way for the cottage.

Our kitchen is very much cottage quirky as we still have the wooden counter built by the previous long-term owner, but we do have a combination oven/microwave, the appropriate ovenware and an induction hob.

We have added a new Ikea sofa bed in the lounge so can offer room for 4.

The house has a dog flap for small to medium-sized dogs via the kitchen into a private garden. Our cottage may be small, but we are close to some amazing outdoor spaces!
