We renovated a two-storey warehouse built during the Edo period and converted it into a guest house.
It's not very spacious, but there's a kitchen on the ground floor with an IH cooking heater, while leaving an atmosphere of storage such as earthen walls and thick beams.Comfortable with air conditioning and oil heater.
Experience unique soundproofing, summer coolness, and winter warmth.

Enjoy freshly ground coffee at our ancient private cafe.

There are Nagahama Taiko Onsen, Sister River Onsen, Sugaya Onsen, and Ibuki Medicinal Herbal Hot Spring within a 10-20 minute drive.Sister River Onsen can provide a ticket (the general price is 865 yen for 760 yen). Please contact us for transfers.

There are many sightseeing spots in the area that are unique to Nagahama, which has often become a historical stage.
Nagahama Castle was first built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Ishida Sansei's birthplace, Japan's leading castle in Yamaki and Kotani, and Mt. Wakagatake, the site of the war. Also, it is less than 20 minutes by car to the Kankeyara battlefield.
In addition to the area around Lake Biwa, there is also a Yammer Museum and a black-walled square where children can enjoy Nagahama Railway Square, Japan's oldest railway station building.

You can also enjoy gourmet dishes such as grilled mackerel Somen, topped udon, salad bread, duck, and sweetfish.

The space
The bath and toilet are located next to the entrance door to the warehouse, so you'll have to take a few steps outdoors. The bus is small, so I encourage you to use the nearby hot spring.
You will sleep three in the bedroom on the second floor and one in the living room on the first floor.Sorry, we kindly ask you to make your own bed on the first floor.
Wifi may not be available due to storage.
