Paddock Barn, rural Suffolk near Woodbridge and Framlingham Area. Farm location. Perfect for short or long stays. Nestled in the heart of the country-side, with 17 acres of land encompassing the property and acres of farmland surrounding its boundaries which can be explored on one of the many public footpaths. The barn has been used by holiday makers since 2013. Guests enjoy the peace and quiet but also find it an excellent base to explore the local historic towns and the nearby coast.

The space
Has recently been used by guests looking to get away from the city for a few weeks while still working from the barn. Also suits guests working in the area with Ipswich, Woodbridge and Sizewell all easily reached, provides peace and quiet after a hard days work, plenty of parking and storage on request. Has been rented by people in between house moves or visiting from abroad and looking for a longer stay. The large fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer also helped with the longer stay.
Being only 45 miles from the Port of Harwich we have had several guests visit from the Netherlands who found the ferry service a very convenient way to visit Suffolk.
Paddock Barn is a ground floor barn accommodation sleeping 2-4 people. It consists of a bedroom, lounge, kitchen/ dining room and a bathroom. The bedroom has twin beds and there is a double sofa bed in the lounge as well as a sofa and 2 reclining arm chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and fitted with electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave & washing machine.There is also use of a tumble dryer in the adjacent cart lodge. The bathroom has a walk in shower. TV and internet access are available together with oil fired central heating.
Double patio doors open on to a paved area with garden seating and guests can also enjoy a walk around the grounds.
Dogs are welcome but we have to consider the safety of our own animals so any dog visiting must be able to get along with our cats, dogs and horses.
EV charger available on request and charged for actual amount used.

There are so many nice places to visit in the area if you like the countryside and the coast. In Woodbridge and Framlingham there are numerous coffee shops and independent shops and the history of Framlingham Castle and Sutton Hoo. Plenty of country pubs close by.

I have been renting Owls Nest since 2013 and have many wonderful reviews from the guests that have visited to date but have not used this website until 2019. I have many guests who return regularly to enjoy the unique features that the property has to offer. I enjoy living in the countryside, spending time with my animals, horse riding and playing tennis. I am a Suffolk local so am able to help guests with local knowledge, places to visit, eat etc where possible.
