Stay with us in our vintage Japanese farmhouse located in Akitakata city, Hiroshima. The "cherie no hatake" is a unique space for you to experience Japanese country side life style.
It is surrounded by the beautiful nature and so peace, take a break from urban life!

The concept of this house is "Farm to table".
We offer you some hotel plans like experiences of cropping veggies and making dinner. Check them below.

The space
This about 100 years old Japanese traditional house has been renovated and updated with modern amenities.
-The bathtub is called "Goemon Furo" is unique. The hot water boiling with firewood warms up to the core of the body.
-Washer and dryer, including detergent are available.
-Up to 6 guests can stay.
-Towels, soap, toothbrush and shampoo is included

1. Self Catering accommodation
Basic charge for renting a house

Just staying, but will be able to provide BBQ, (Charcoal and the the necessary equipment are provided for free, just bring your own meal), please let us know if you would like to use it.

2. Cropping Veggies
Basic charge plus 3500yen per group

Enjoy cropping fresh veggies from organic farm, and make dinner by using these beautiful ones.

3.Kouri Mountain guide tour
Basic charge plus 3000yen per group. 2.5～３Hours
Please book this plan before a week.

Kouri Mountain is a nice historic place, a nice walking trail.
Enjoy hiking along with guide who is an English speaker, and learn about Japanese history.

Akitakata city is known for Kagura, which is a dance performed in Japan’s Shinto faith as a ritual performance for the gods.
There is a nice place "Kagura Monzen Toujimura" for enjoying Kagura nearby and highly recommend it.
Please look up " toujimura" on google, see their schedure.

There is a nice historic spot, a nice walking trail "Koriyama" where is the final resting place of the great samurai Mori Motonari.

Our friends run a beautiful cafe "iegoto" that Japanese old house has been restored by themselves is close to our place. (Open : Thu, Fri, First Sat)

Our interests include cooking, nature, travel, wine, snowboarding, and we have been into growing micro greens lately.
