Adjoining two bedroom Church Cottage is Gregory Cottage, also available. Church Cottage is a romantic and private boutique property for up to four people, hidden away in rural Lincolnshire yet only ten minutes from Grantham station and three minutes from the A1.

The space

Approached from the road to a gravel parking area and flanking garden, the entrance leads into a well equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, large fridge/freezer and the charming dining area.

The space
It is a beautifully furnished cottage with carefully selected

pieces, decorations and paintings throughout. The sitting room has flanking sofas to the open and useable log fire, TV, Netflix, internet and blue tooth speaker.

Upstairs, the main bedroom has a King size bed and TV. The second bedroom has a Double bed, TV and extensive views of rolling countryside. The bathroom is luxuriously fitted out in keeping with the unique ambience of the whole house.

Outside the beautiful garden has a pergola and eating areas.

The neighbourhood
Stroxton is a pretty Lincolnshire hamlet and nearby Harlaxton has a village shop, post office and pub with restaurant. Harlaxton Manor was described by Pevsner as the wildest and most fanciful mansion of the 1830s.

Public footpaths abound and the Grantham Canal is a highly sought after walkway.
Open to the public is nearby Belvoir Castle with its unique new shopping amenities, restaurant and bar.

Belton House owned by the National Trust is an architectural gem inside and out with a fantastic adventure playground for children. Belton Wood Hotel has a spa and golf course.

Not so far away, via the A1 is Stamford, famous for the Burghley horse trials. Historic Newark with its castle has all year round antique fairs and fabulous antique shops. Lincoln Castle with its copy of Magna Carta and Cathedral are a dominant part of this County's history.

Nottingham is within easy driving distance too.

Rutland Water to the South has everything from walking and cycling to fishing and water sports to ospreys at the Nature Reserve.

Top restaurants in the vicinity are:
Harry's Place, Grantham
Hambleton Hall, Rutland Water
