What makes this house magical is that all rooms enjoy an unobstructed view of the Aegean sea and the beach, all along with convenience and warmth.
All sitting and dinning rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms, terraces, patios, balconies have natural light throughout the day. The walk to the beach is through the garden of Villa Alma. Steps lead down to a paved private road and via a side path to Vromolimnos beach. Altogether it is less than a 5' walk.
Kitchen, dining/living room, bedrooms have A/C.

The space
Street level:
There is a bamboo covered parking area for 2 cars at street level. From the parking stairs lead down to the house entrance at level 1.

Level 1 is where the main kitchen, dining area, living room with sea view, bedroom 1 and bathroom 1, outside covered veranda with dining table, front of the terrace sitting areas and side sitting area with BBQ area.

Level 1 dining: There is a fully equipped large kitchen with a marble breakfast bar in the kitchen area for 4-6 people and 2 dinning areas, one is in the lounge area for 8 people and the other outside under the covered veranda that can sit up to 10 people.
The living room is located at the front area of level 1 and has comfortable sitting area with couch and armchairs.

Bedrooms/bathrooms:
Bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and suitable for adults and children.
However, if young children are staying at the house, it is recommended for safety reasons, that baby proof gates at stairs leading to level 2 and 3 of the house and gates of terraces' stairs leading to the beach are kept closed at all times. The single mattress bunk bed in bedroom 3 and the single mattress on the loft in bedroom 1 must be used only by people comfortable to climb steep steps.
All bedrooms have sea view and natural light throughout the day, all 4 bathrooms are with shower and WC.

Level 1-Bedroom 1: 1 queen/b and inside the bedroom there is a loft with 1 single floor mattress. The bathroom is located outside, right next to the bedroom door. French windows lead to the main veranda terrace of the villa. A/C unit and ceiling fan over the bed.

Stair leads down from level 1 to level 2 where bedrooms 2 & 3 are located.
Bedroom 2: 1 queen/b, sea view balcony with sitting area for 2. A/C unit & ceiling fan over the bed. Bathroom is outside the bedroom, right next door with sea view.
Bedroom 3: 1 king/b or 2 single beds & 1 single bunk bed for an extra person, adult or child. It has a long window with splendid sea views even from the ensuite bathroom, A/C unit.

Stair leads down from level 2 to level 3.
Bedroom 4/suite: 1 queen/b, ensuite kitchenette with breakfast table & bathroom, sea view terrace, lovely sitting patio for 2, reached through french windows that can serve also as a separate entrance form the rest of the house through the garden. There are 2 ceiling fans, one in the bedroom and one in the kitchenette area. A/C unit. in the bedroom

The villa can accommodate in 3 levels a maximum of 10 people in 4 bedrooms, but could be made available for smaller groups at an adjusted rate.

There is the possibility to rent only the top 2 levels of the house with the 3 bedrooms separately from Level 3 where bedroom 4/suite that has a separate entrance is located.
Bedroom 4/suite can also be rented separately from the top 2 levels.

Where you’ll be

Sporades, Greece

Kalamaki peninsula and Vromolinmos beach (we call it Vrom beach) where villa Alma is located is a very privileged and unique location on Skiathos island.
Vrom beach in front of the villa, is a south west facing lovely sandy beach, enjoying the sun all day long and the sunset is taking place right in front of it. The sea water is crystal clear and calm, making it ideal for families and for passionate swimmers.
Kalamaki peninsula is the shoot after area for the privileged villas on the island because they are blessed to be located within pine forest, olive groves and by the sea, enjoying stunning sea views and proximity to some of the famous Skiathos sandy beaches. Additionally, this area is set in middle of the main Skiathos road that leads from the airport and the town to the other end where the famous Koukounaries beach can be reached, making it very easy to travel either away, both Skiathos and Koukounaries beach are at 7km, or 10 minutes drive away from villa Alma.
There is a sea sports center on Vrom beach and a taverna and beach bar. There are 4 more beaches, Kanapitsa, Tzaneria, Kolios and Agia Paraskevi beach all 4 with tavernas, and sea sports at 5 minutes drive from the villa, or 15 minutes walk.
A super market, the bus stop, an ATM and a taverna are located at the end of the drive to the main road, less than 10 minutes walk from the villa.
Since I know the island very well, I can:
- make suggestions for walks around the villa area, as well as drives and hikes to remote and unexplored parts of the island;
- provide details for boat rental or day-cruising, water sports or scuba lessons, fishing trips, day sailing trips around the island of Skiathos and Skopelos, suggest beaches for swimming on the mainland across Skiathos at Pelion peninsula
- suggest our favourite restaurants and bars of Skiathos island.

I lived in Skiathos island for over 35 years, where I owned and managed a large travel agency providing services to tourists from all over the world.
