It offers the most exclusive and romantic getaway for couples, honeymoons, yoga & spiritual retreats, family gatherings and nature lovers alike. Swim in or sail on the lake, use the outdoor shower, keep warm in the sauna and explore the deep quiet forests in any season, by foot or by bike.

Housie is a traditional Swedish wooden cabin, newly renovated in Scandinavian boutique style. The plot is 2,500 M2 and during the winter half year there’s a small stream running down the hill next to the house. The house is 80 M2s and has three separate bedrooms, a bathroom and a large combined kitchen-, dining- and living room with a panoramic glass wall facing east. It offers breathtaking views of the lake, which has just a few houses that are rarely occupied. Housie only has one directly neighbouring house and with adequate distance.
Housie is a strict no smoking and no shoes zone, and pets are not allowed.
Our prices include full use of everything, electricity, heat, firewood, internet and a variety of streaming services.
Key features and items to note:
* The house has a private floating bridge/patio with a ladder that folds up when not in use.
* Sauna with electrical Harvia oven. It seats 4-6 people.
* Outdoor shower, right next to the sauna.
* Outside is a large 20 M2 wooden terrasse with dining table for 4-6 people, gas grill, sofa, fireplace, armchairs, parasol. A smaller terrasse is also available with two lounge chairs. The terasses are no (dirty) shoes zones to extend the living room outside. A small charcoal grill is also available in the shed.
* Heat pump (hot/cold air conditioning) in the living room. Heat panels in all rooms.
* Rowing boat (dinghy) and life wests.
* Internet Wi-Fi connection. On a good day you can usually stream a movie. Cell phone signal is weak in the house, but great from the nearest hilltop.
* 50 inch smart tv with Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, CuriosityChannel etc and an older 32 inch TV with Apple TV and Blu-ray player and a sizeable movie collection for adults and kids.
* Water supply: The house has its own well (130 metres deep) with two professional water filters. You can drink this water directly from the tap, it's delicious, cold and clean.
* 2 Biomega BOS bikes for adults, unisex, 8 speed and beltdrive. Danish design exhibited at MOMA. Note: Please bring your own biking helmet.
* Living room woodburning stove (Nordic Eco Labeled/Svanemærket) and outdoor fireplaces in the garden and on the bridge. Wood is supplied on the property, you'll have to restock it yourself and cleave some of it (axes are supplied).
