The apartment is set in an exclusive gated development within Gibraltar's popular south district, enjoying its very own micro climate and popular beaches. The Anchorage sits overlooking the historic Rosia Bay, and was conceived by award-winning architects Saville Jones, and developed by the Montagu Group in 2010.

Its historical setting is outstanding: Rosia Bay was a deep-water harbour and of huge importance to the Royal Navy since the 18th century. It is where ships would dock in order to renew their supplies, and of special note, it is where the HMS Victory, bearing the body of Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson after his death during the Battle of Trafalgar, was towed to be repaired. Within the concourse of the estate, the Grand Magazine, an ammunition store dating to 1750, was retained and converted into a private gymnasium for the exclusive use of residents of The Anchorage. With bathroom facilities, showers and fully equipped including a training pool, the gym is a popular feature of The Anchorage.

The communal areas, secured by electronic gates and CCTV, also include planted areas and a landscaped children’s play area.
