Jaipur Bungalow, an exotic and charming tavern, away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life invites you for an experience that takes you on a regal journey of art and culture of Rajasthan through its architecture and indulgences. Among an array of those art forms, Jaipur Bungalow is designed using the three most admirable crafts blue pottery, wooden handicrafts, and block printing. All eleven rooms resonate with the vivid and rich history of the art and culture of Rajasthan.

The space
One of our theme based "Block Print" rooms or as we like to call it, Ethernal Escape. When it comes to sheer variety, beauty and brilliance, the handicrafts of Rajasthan are hard to beat. From brilliant brass work to beautiful block printing, the artisans produce a mind-boggling array of goods that make for stunning artifacts. The art of block printing is one such art that is a delight for the senses; the soft thud of a wooden block hitting the print table is so rhythmic of a backdrop to the centuries-old craft of block printing. The craft persists even after the endless inventions that happen on an every-day basis and is carried out in the crepuscular light of thousands of workshops across the subcontinent.

I am Mayur Singh from Jaipur. I am passionate about music and sports and love to travel and meet new people. I live in Jaipur with my family, my father Jagat Singh Rathore who has been a part of the thriving tourism industry in Rajasthan for the past 40 years. Born in Jodhpur, he has been brought up and still resides in Jaipur. He has done Masters in History and, hailing from the Rajput warrior clan, has vast resources of knowledge about the land of his forefathers, specially Jaipur.
