From Chania airport or the port of Souda: Follow the signs to the highway in the direction of Rethymno. Take the highway. At the Kalyves / Armenoi junction take the exit on your right and then turn left in the direction of the village of Kalyves. Enter Kalyves and follow the signs to Gavalochori. Continue another 9 km until you reach Gavalochori. Enter Gavalochori and drive up to the village square with a monument. At the beginning of the square turn right and follow the sign towards the Pre-Industrial Olive mill. After 80 metres turn right, you will soon see a big church on your left, continue straight ahead and after 50 metres turn left at the intersection. After 70 metres you will reach Villa Philia on your left.
From the airport or port of Heraklio: Follow the signs to the highway in the direction of Rethymno – Chania. Take the highway. Pass all of the exits to Rethymno and continue driving in the direction of Chania. After Georgioupolis take the exit to Vrysses / Vamos and follow the signs to Vamos. After Vamos drive for another 5 km until you reach the junction with the sign for Gavalochori and then turn right. Continue for another 6 km. Enter Gavalochori and drive up to the village square with a monument. At the beginning of the square turn right and follow the sign towards the Pre-Industrial Olive mill. After 80 metres turn right, you will soon see a big church on your left, continue straight and after 50 metres turn left at the intersection. After 70 metres you will reach Villa Philia on your left.
