The renovation of a 150 years old house is an exciting challenge. The goal is to preserve the traditional architecture, but in the same time to provide the comfort of the 21st century. This beautiful wooden house is in Énlaka, a small Transylvanian village, surrounded by nature.

The space
The main house has two bedrooms, one big bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a small restroom, and a large porch. The building comfortably accommodates 6 persons.
On the same yard, across from the main house is a summerhouse, with one bedroom, a sleeping loft, and a bathroom. In the summerhouse can fit 2-3 persons.
All together in the two houses are three bedrooms, where easily can fit eight people.
In the yard is a brick oven and grill, an old well, a sandpit, a firepit, a big covered patio with a long table, chairs, and hammocks.

Built on a stone foundation, the porch cabin has two rooms, a large bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a small sink, and a large porch. This house can comfortably hold six people.
