Fresh and New modern bunkhouse with wonderful hillside views. The space is ideal for couples, a couple of friends or solo/business travelers. The space is clean, simple, safe, and tranquil. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening cozied up around the fire pit on your own lovely deck.

The space
In the space you will find a bunkbed with 2 cozy Twin XL beds (fits most adults quite comfortably).

Prepare simple meals in the Kitchenette which includes a K-cup machine for coffee & tea, mini fridge and microwave.

An ample starter set of paper products including toilet tissue, napkins and Kleenex are provided, if you run out, you will need to supply additional for your use.

Apple TV (to use with your own subscriptions), and Internet are provided.

Street parking available in front of house, 1 car max total (no oversized vehicles please).

Well lit entryway to space in the evening so that you feel safe and comfortable navigating to and from the space at night.

Check-in time is any time between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m., if you are unable to check-in by 10 p.m. please do not book. Check-out time is no later than 11 a.m. unless previously arranged.

If you need a late check-out, and it is possible, you agree to pay the late check-out fee of $50 prior to your check-out date (24 hour advance notice please).

If you are looking for a “PARTY HOUSE", unfortunately this property will not suit your needs. While we certainly encourage our guests to enjoy themselves...we must also insist that no one in the area is disturbed by excessive or loud noise, partying, drinking or any type of behavior that would prevent neighbors from a peaceful enjoyment of their homes before or after "reasonable hours".

THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY, (Smoking not allowed anywhere including patios, decks, walkways, stairs, or any part of the property - smokers must go to the street away from the property). ALSO, NO DRUGS OR WEAPONS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED. ALL PROPERTY RULES STRICTLY ENFORCED. Thanks in advance!

We are located in the Montecito/Upper Dominican neighborhood of San Rafael. We are about a 5 minute drive from Highway 101, 10 minute walk to the Dominican University, 10 minute walk to Whole Foods, 15 minute walk to downtown San Rafael, approximate 10 minute drive to Larkspur Ferry where you can take a lovely boat ride into San Francisco. (All times are approximations)

Other nearby destinations include:

San Anselmo - a quaint town full of great eateries and shops. (~15 minute drive)

Fairfax - "the Home of Mountian Biking" in which you will find the Marin Museum of Bicycling as well as several eclectic shops, great restaurants and Brewery. Don't forget to stop in at Fairfax Scoop for a delicious treat! (~15 minute drive)

Sausalito - a beautiful community just north of the Golden Gate Bridge...not to be missed! (~20 minute drive)

Mount Tamalpais State Park - is astounding with breathtaking views, redwoods, and a multitude of hiking trails. (~40 minute drive)

Stinson Beach - a world famous surf spot with a relaxed beach town atmosphere. (~45 minute drive)

Sonoma - One of California's top food and wine destinations. A beautiful historic city located in the winemaking region. (~35 minute drive)

Napa - Known for hundreds of hillside vineyards in the Napa Valley wine region. (~45 minute drive)

Born and raised in the Bay Area...California has and most likely will always be my Home Sweet Home! Wine tasting is one of my favorite past times, luckily Wine Country is just a short distance from where I live....cheers to that! I am a huge fan of traveling around the world and try to make it a point to take at least 3 trips a year, one of which is usually out of the U.S. I love exploring other countries and experiencing new cultures. With as much traveling as I have had the pleasure, I have had my fair share of all types of accommodations from Hotels, Condo's, 5 star Resorts, and Vacation Rentals such as Airbnb. Overtime I have found that Airbnb offers the best bang for your buck in most cases. I like that I can usually book an entire place with the added extra amenities I don't typically get staying at a Hotel as well as free parking in many cases, all for the price I would typically pay for a standard hotel room. I have fairly high expectations when it comes to accommodations, therefore I have tried to go above and beyond providing my guests with the most comfortable space for their stay. I'm completely dedicated to 5 star stays and welcome your feedback before, during, and after your stay. I look forward to Hosting your next vacation real soon!
