Our traditional country villa is one of the biggest, most well-preserved manor houses of Konitsa.

Built in 1883, under the Ottoman empire's seal of approval, this impressive, stone-built mansion acts as an adornment of the settlement of Ano Konitsa. Its high, elaborately carved ceilings, its wooden floors and its many, large windows make this place ideal for both winter excursions or summer trips. Surrounded by many acres of land, it also has a vineyard, an orchard and private parking.

The space
Konitsa is located north of Ioannina (63km), and northeast of a really graphic group of villages known as the Zagorochoria (30 το 50km depending on how far you are willing to travel!). The town was built amphitheatrically-shaped on a mountain slope of the Pindos mountain range from where it overlooks the valley where the river Aoos meets the river Voidomatis.

Konitsa is a popular starting point for everybody who want to explore the Pindos mountains, or who wants to go rafting in the river Aoos or parapenting. Konitsa's closeness to places of particular interest to nature lovers, makes it an ideal destination. Some of this places include the Vikos–Aoos National Park, which includes the Vikos Gorge, the Aoos Gorge and the Tymfi mountains - where the "Vikos" spring water brand is collected, the Dragonlakes of Tymfi and Smolikas and the sulfur baths of Kavasila.

Konitsa is also close to Vasilitsa's Ski Resort (110km), for any ski lovers! But be advised that the road to Vasilitsa will be really curvy, meaning it will take you approximately 3 hours to get there.

The area has particular historical background as well. Our villa used to be the Turkish Bey's palace back in the day. "Bey" back then, meant something like what now is a mayor. Our villa, along with Hamko's residence, were the most prestigious residences in Konitsa. Our family has spent many holidays there throughout the years, and most of the neighbours are our friends or even family! So do not hesitate to let us know for whatever question or issue you might have! Us, and everybody that will be living near you, would be happy to help!
