My homestay is located quite near the Punakha Dzong (fortress) over the suspension bridge. It is a heritage homestay which is more than 100 years old. It is a traditional Bhutanese house. From the rooms one can also see the mountains and the river.

The space
The homestay is located in a valley by the river Pho Chu and is walking distance to the suspension bridge.
We provide the traditional 'hot stone' bath which is a unique experience where we will use stones from the river bed and mountain herbs.
We have a farm where we have homegrown rice and seasonal fruits and vegetables. We also provide fresh milk from our farm and brew local wine. We provide Bhutanese dishes at an additional cost.

The neighborhood is quite lovely and it is very peaceful. One can also take a walk upto the suspension bridge any time. It's just a few minutes away.
