Romantic Traditional Irish cottage newly renovated to include modern comforts, located in the heart of west Waterford surrounded by the Knockmealdown mountains, the Black Water valley and superb views of the Comeragh mountains. It is an 18 min drive (19km) to the attractive coastal town of Dungarvan. Home to the Waterford Greenway. It is a 18min drive (20km) to the historical town of Lismore. 18 minutes to the Nire Valley where Lake fishing features.

The space
Cosy Cottage fully updated with WiFi and TV. French doors open onto private balcony over looking spectacular gardens and glourious vista beyond. Relax there whilst listening to the sound of the Finisk river below. The cottage has a lovely east facing private patio to one side. There is parking for two cars to the west of the property. Storage for bikes if needed. Inside you have a fully equipped bespoke kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There are good cooking facilities for your dining needs. Cosy up beside the stove after a day travelling through beautiful West Waterford. When you’re ready,retire to a warm relaxing bedroom next door.

Traditional Irish music sessions in The Old Mill house Pub Sunday & Monday evenings, less than 5 minutes drive down the road. Our nearest shop is 10 minutes away. Rally school 5 minutes away. Nire Valley 19min drive (18km) offers fishing/hill walking. The Mahon Falls are a must see at the foot of the Comeragh mountains. Our nearest town is Dungarvan. 18 min drive (19km) .It hosts a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants & pubs. Farmers market every Thursday. Almost equal distance is the much visited heritage town, Lismore. 19min drive (20km). You could take a detour through the famous landmark Dromana Bridge on your way. A visit to the Castle, its gardens and cafe is a treat not to be missed. If you’re in the mood to travel further on from Lismore to the village of Ballyduff Upper 29min drive (27km) you will find a real little treasure, Blackwater Distillery where they distill Blackwater Irish Gin. The small town of Cappoquin is 12 mins drive (8.8km) away and has a lovely little award winning cafe. “Barrons bakery” known for its blas. Costal town of Youghal is a 35min drive (37km)
