Welcome to our beautiful summer homes in Cephalonia! Located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by a lavish countryside, sandy beaches, and translucent turquoise waters, our homes are minutes away from the island’s main happening scene and airport.

The space
The Wheat House is one of our three summer homes in Cephalonia.

Our homes are built in a 7,000 Sqm gated property, surrounded by numerous fields, many trees, and beautiful beaches. The closest beach is a 5-7 minute walk away, which is very convenient, especially for large groups, if some of the guests decide to stay back home and relax. All beaches around the property are sandy and have shallow translucent turquoise waters, some of which with caves you can swim into and rocks you can dive off from!

The homes are approximately a 10 minute drive from Argostoli, the island's main town, and a 5 minute drive from the island’s airport, which puts it very close to the island’s main happening scene and makes it very convenient for flying in and out from the island. Argostoli offers a complete range of amenities, including a comprehensive grocers market, a nice shopping district, a diverse cuisine assortment, and a fun nightlife scene. Moreover, a lot of nice tavernas and restaurants can be found scattered around the beachfront and highland villages of the island.

All three of our homes have been built with great care, using carefully selected materials and traditional construction techniques rarely found today. All materials and elements have been carefully chosen and combined to create a unique classic and contemporary homey atmosphere.

The property is comprised by spacious indoor and outdoor facilities built to optimize guest interaction while simultaneously enabling a high level of privacy. All three homes’ terraces form a natural extension of the structure with abundant shaded, lounge, and dinning areas ideal for relaxing, reading, sunbathing, stargazing, and entertaining. Each house has its own 32 square meter swimming pool, fireplace, outdoor kitchen & BBQ area, and fully equipped indoor kitchen. Moreover, the homes are equipped with high speed wireless broadband Internet and a rich entertainment system, which include TV/DVD players and Bose SoundTouch Wi-Fi music systems.

THE WHEAT HOUSE

The Wheat House can accommodate up to 8 guests in its four bedrooms but can accommodate additional guests by adding folding beds. It has a fireplace, private swimming pool, BBQ, outdoor lounge and dining areas, and garden.

Where you’ll be

Apart from nice restaurants and beautiful beaches, the area around our homes features vineyards, organic farms, a botanic garden, an open-air theater, museums, ruins of an old Venetian castle, monasteries, picturesque villages, and other natural and cultural landmarks. Furthermore, inland caves, pictorial fish towns, and more monasteries and old ruins can be explored further away.

Some of the nicest close-by beaches include Eglina, Megali Ammos, Spasmata, Ammes, Ai-Helis, Avithos, and Platis & Makris Yialos. All these beaches are sandy and have relatively shallow transparent turquoise waters, some of which with caves you can swim into and rocks you can dive off from. Most also have organized parts with sunbeds, umbrellas, beach bars, beach volley courts, and water sports. Further away, noteworthy beaches include Mounta, Antisami, Myrtos, Petani, & Xi. Also, small motorboats can be rented for daytrips at the towns of Agia Efimia & Fiscardo to visit small, otherwise inaccessible coves and beaches surrounded by a lavish cypress and oak forest.

And for those who enjoy outdoor activities, there are a couple of day sea kayaking excursions that either start or end at beaches right next to the homes!

During your stay

Since you will be renting our entire home, there will be minimal interaction from our side so that you can enjoy your holidays. However, myself or someone from my family will be there to greet you when you arrive, attend to you during your stay, and say farewell before you leave.

Nevertheless, our housekeeper and/or our caretaker will be present at our property most of the time. Also, our housekeeper's living quarters (bedroom/bathroom) are located in the Wheat house.
